Episode 62 - Catch-Up and Commiseration

Jarman and Steve took a week off. Steve was on vacation, horrible things happened in Orlando where Jarman lives and where they both grew up, and so much more. It's been a tough few weeks, so be warned, we do a bit of venting, but then we cool off with some movie reviews, including Captain America: Civil War (Steve finally saw it), X-Men: Apocalypse, Independence Day: Resurgence and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. (MAN...all those movies really like their colons)

For Nerdy News we discuss strange Canadian corpse-dissolving technology and a even stranger developing Universal Pictures monster-movie shared universe that is developing.

For Trailer Reviews we cover the zombie film based off the book, The Girl With All the Gifts and Kevin Smith's upcoming Yoga Hosers.

Episode 61 - The Dark Crystal and Zero Charisma

This week we introduce a brand new feature segment to the podcast: Retro Retrospective! Both Steve and Jarman pick one of their favorite movies that the other has not seen, and then they join up on the podcast to review them with each other. In future iterations of this segment they will surely not agree on why each movie should be a favorite, but this time around, they do! For this episode we review one of Steve's favorites, The Dark Crystal, from the genius mind of Jim Henson; and for one of Jarman's favorites, we review Zero Charisma, a film all about a misfit who runs some serious games of Dungeons and Dragons.
