MuppeTrek - Episode 0 - The Unaired Pilots

It’s the inaugural episode of MuppeTrek! This is the show where we will review one episode each episode of The Muppet Show and Star Trek: The Original Series! Our co-hosts Steve and Jarman are huge fans of The Muppets and Star Trek respectively, so join them on a journey as they expose each other to these franchises from where they first began.

For the first episode (Episode 0) we take on the un-aired pilots of both series: The Muppets Valentine’s Special and The Cage.

First we’ll quickly recap the episodes and give our opinions of each. Then we’ll see if we can find any similarities between the two episodes (often ridiculous and barely tangential). After that… a transporter accident! We must cast characters from each show in the other episode of each franchise! Will Kermit become Captain Kirk? Will Spock become Miss Piggy? You’ll have to listen to find out!

Episode 130 - Top 21 Zombie Films of All Time

In honor of the upcoming release of Zombieland 2, we take an arbitrary list of the top 21 zombie films of all time from Collider, found HERE and we discuss what they got right, got wrong, what they might have missed, and some crazy crap we just haven’t seen before. What do you think they got wrong?

We’ll also keep on topic with some “real life” zombie trivia and play a game of Slow Zombies or Fast Zombies?!

For Trailer Reviews we’ll take from New York Comic Con and jump into some upcoming TV, with the Walking Dead teen spin-off series, a new Picard trailer, and a sneak peak of season 2 of Netflix’s Lost In Space.

Episode 123 - Star Trek Beyond!

We finally made it! Join us for the final segment in our long-running series of reviewing all the Muppet films and all the Star Trek films! This edition: Star Trek Beyond! We will also give our final rankings of all the films. Which ones blew it big time and which were the best of each franchise?
