For Nerdy News we cover a girl with a strange disorder in Scotland that causes her to experience strange tastes when she hears certain words and sounds, and then Steve discusses the upcoming Jabba the Hutt movie and science that proves that adding water to your whiskey makes it taste better!

For Trailer Reviews we cover the mysterious Mother! and the artistic Wonderstruck.

Episode 80 - Comic Con Trailer Roundup 2017!

It's that time of year again! When San Diego Comic Con is flooded with releases of all kinds of trailers and sneak previews of all the geeky/nerdy movies and TV shows on the docket for the upcoming year. We take a look at the highlights and let you know what has us excited...and bored. You can find a list with most everything we cover here.

We also pack in TWO games! We bring back Hypothetical Hubub, (a disturbing version of "would you rather") and Indie Band or Smut Search! If you don't already know that game, you'll have to listen to understand.

Episode 78 - Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home - Film Review!

This week on the podcast we continue our ongoing series where we review all the films in the Muppets and Star Trek franchises, with Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home! To help us do that we have super-Star Trek fans and co-hosts of the Ten Forward Podcast, Matt Hansen, Paul Wright and Chris Mitchell! They'll help us delve into this fan favorite Star Trek film in detail.
